This wedding video was shot on Butterfly Beach, located across the street from The Four Seasons Biltmore in Montecito is a locals favorite. There are no beach amenities here (no kayak rentals, volleyball courts, restroom facilities, or restaurants) so it tends to be less attractive to the activity minded visitor. It does however draw a strong local crowd, so weekend weddings are best in either the mid morning or very late afternoon to allow for a more intimate environment.

Montecito's Butterfly Beach is one of the few west facing beaches along the Santa Barbara coastline which makes for spectacular sunset views over the water. It's also the place to be for dolphin watching, which often can be seen playing in the surf in the early to late afternoon.

Because it is not a very wide beach, please check with our coordinator to determine the tides for your wedding day before deciding on a specific time of day for your ceremony. Receptions are discouraged here, mostly because of the coming and going of the tides, but for a romantic wedding ceremony Butterfly Beach is ideal and one of my top picks.

The Malibu Nature Preserve with its wild parrots, red tailed hawks and big hearted board of directors is one of the few eco-concious weddings sites in Southern California. It took several years to nurse it's natural beauty back to balance after it was abused and neglected by other businesses. Today, Salamanders live on the pristine little stream and wild life grazes its lawns without dropping dead from pesticides or fertilizers.

Surrounded by the Topa Topa Mountains and boasting some of the best weather in the country, the affluent rural community of Camarillo has become a quintessential Southern California town. Its ambiance is at once upscale and laid-back, and almost everyone you meet offers a friendly greeting. Since 1958, Las Posas Country Club has been a gracious exponent of Camarillo’s congenial attitude and idyllic surroundings; recently, this private destination began welcoming non-members to celebrate weddings and other special occasions. The contemporary clubhouse has a grand flagstone portico embellished with an exuberant bower of greenery and flowers, testament to the neighborhood’s fertile valleys. Inside, the décor is tasteful and refined. Potted palms, gilded mirrors and wall sconces enliven a color scheme of creamy taupe and pale moss. Walls of windows and glass doors look out to the patios, where guests gather for the early phases of a wedding. Ceremonies are held on the Dining Room Terrace, a pretty brick patio that overlooks the rolling green fairways of the Las Posas golf course, with the tree-studded mountains beyond. Couples usually place their decorated arch or chuppah so that the delightful view flanks the rows of white wood padded guest chairs; a petite putting green bordered by rose bushes frames the bride and groom. 

Jaden on offense plays running back has scored 40 TD's and rushed for over 3000 yards and lead his team to an 11-0 record and Super Bowl Champions. He is considered by many coaches to be the best player in the league. Had over 450 yds and 4 TDs in one game this season (against a 5-0 team!). In his first playoff game had 7 TD's and over 650 all purpose yards. Also calls defensive plays and has 2 Int returned for TD from the linebacker position.

Wow, the time flew by and it's the morning of your wedding day and the hair and makeup artists is at your door ready to make you perfect for your wedding day. Many couples are not sure if they want coverage of the bridal preparation for video but here is an example of what you can expect. This is usually when I get the question of groom coverage and although our studio offers the groom coverage, other than putting on the TUX there is little for the groom to do with regard to preparation, so the majority of time is spent on the bride and her transformation.
